This policy (which is incorporated into the Terms of Service) covers how Guppers treats Personal Information that Guppers collects and receives, including information related to your use of Guppers Services. By using the Services, you expressly consent to our collection, storage, use and disclosure of your Personal Information as described in this Privacy Policy.

to you like your name, address, e-mail address, or phone number, the messages you
send through the Services, as well as other non-public information that is associated
with the foregoing.
Collection and Usage
When using Guppers Services, you are not anonymous to us. When using the short messaging service
service, Guppers collects your name and phone number. When you register on the Guppers
website, Guppers collects your name, email address, phone number and password. Guppers
collects information about your usage of our short messaging service and web services. Guppers
automatically receives and records information on our server logs from your browser,
including your IP address, Guppers cookie information, and the page you request.
Guppers uses Personal Information for the following general purposes: to customize
the content you see, provide you with services, improve the services, contact you,
conduct research, and provide anonymous reporting for internal and external clients.
Each message that you send through the Services is stored on our servers. We retain
these messages on our servers.
Children
Children should not submit any Personal Information without the permission of their
parents or guardians. By using the service, you are representing that you are at
least 18, or that you are at least 13 years old and have your parents' permission
to use the service.
Our Disclosure of Your Information
Guppers does not rent, sell, or share Personal Information about you with other
people or nonaffiliated companies without your explicit consent except under the
following circumstances:
- We provide the Personal Information to trusted partners
who work on behalf of or with Guppers under confidentiality agreements.
- We respond
to subpoenas, court orders, or legal process, or to establish or exercise our legal
rights or defend against legal claims;
- We believe it is necessary to share Personal
Information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities,
suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of
any person, violations of Guppers's terms of use, or as otherwise required by law.
- We transfer Personal Information about you if Guppers is, or its assets are, acquired
by or merged with another company.
We reserve the right to send you certain communications
relating to the Guppers service, such as service announcements and administrative
messages that are considered part of your Guppers account, without offering you
the opportunity to opt-out of receiving them.
Accessing, Reviewing and Changing Your Personal Information
You can edit your Guppers account information at any time via the Guppers website.
You may request that we delete your account, and any information associated with
your account, but please note that we may be required (by law or otherwise) to retain
this information and not delete it (or to keep this information for a certain time,
in which case we will comply with your deletion request only after we have fulfilled
such requirements). When we delete your information, it will be deleted from the
active database but may remain in our archives.
Opting-Out
Guppers provides the ability to block messages from another user with the "BLOCK" command. Please report any spam or other abuse to admin@guppers.com. In the event that you elect to no longer receive any messages from any user of the Guppers service, you may reply "OFF" to any Guppers message.
Security
Guppers takes precautions to ensure the security of your Personal Information. However,
we cannot guarantee that hackers or unauthorized personnel may gain access to your
Personal Information despite our efforts.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
Guppers may update this policy. We will notify you about significant changes in
the way we treat Personal Information by placing a prominent notice on our site.
